This company gets 5 star rating from me. Other companies can learn from this guy. If you are 24 hours then yes you need to be available. D&J Electric came for a simple blown fuse and they will now get my business to change my panel out in my house. Great guy!

Who do you call at 10:30pm, on a Friday, during a snow storm? Apparently the answer is D&J Electric. We had power to some parts of our house, but not others, and, most concerning, our furnace was not working. After attempting to call multiple electricians offering "emergency" services, the soonest appointment we could arrange was Monday. We called D&J Electric and an electrician was out to our home in 30 minutes. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable - we have found our electrician for all future needs. Thank you!!

Six o'clock Saturday night I had an strange electrical problem (strange to me) that caused me to worry about shorting and causing a fire. I called a couple of electrical companies hoping I could get someone out tonight to fix it. D & J explained to me what he thought the problem might be and how to check it out and fix it (he was correct and I fixed it).

How often does that happen anymore that you get free advice from a company that could have sent a truck out and charge me (which is what I expected)!!

My go to place if needed in the future...thank you!

First time using D&J Electric Had a whole house generator installed. They did an excellent job and I was very pleased! They were very professional, courteous,friendly, arriving on time and cleaned everything up after the job was done. Initially called for service on a couple broken switches D & J was extremely helpful resolving and fixing the issues below quotes received by their competitors. I felt great about the service I received on the initial job which led to impromptu ceiling light installation requested by wife which also turned out better than expected and i know have them lined up to come back out for full electric installation on my pole barn currently in building process. Overall great service and would recommend to anyone for any job!

D & J Electric Company Retrofitted the Oakland Church of Christ Parking Lot and Building exterior lighting to LED lights. This greatly improved our night time visibility for the building and vehicle parking lot. D & J provided solutions that met our needs. Josh worked with my schedule and explained what needed to be fixed so I could understand and got it done quickly. He was very helpful and knowledgeable.

D&J crew was great and very professional! They were very quick to respond and I had a same day quote that was very reasonable (and at a time of community crisis when we had a huge storm knock out power for most of the midwest). I also had the job scheduled within a week and they arrived on time and as promised. I had them update my entire electric panel and add on an exterior generator hookup. From the beginning, they made it clear that they take pride in their work, will not cut corners, and strive on doing the job right. Finally, they were true to their quote and made sure everything ran as it should including a test run of the generator. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again if I have any electrical concerns. There is no need to shop around, I trust these guys.

Best place around ! Very respectful and helpful. I recently had a huge power surge at my house and I got exactly what I needed done on time. They worked with me for my repairs on a timely manner. The very next day after I had the inspection, they were out fixing it ! Highly recommend D & J electric company!! I will forever be using them as my electrician!

D & J Electric re-wired my sister-in-laws house from the 1930s in two work days! They provide professional, competent service and they are VERY efficient! I highly recommend their service and wouldn't hesitate to use them for my own electrical issues in the future!

D & J electric came out and installed an outdoor outlet for my generator to plug into when the power goes out. They showed up when they said they would. They were spot on with the quote I received. Worked quickly and efficiently. Answered all of my questions multiple times and showed me how to hook up my generator and use the plug when the power does go out. Plan on using them again to wire a hot tub this summer!

These guys were excellent. Got my generator back up and running when the ice knocked my power out, and they were half the price the competition was gonna charge just to come take a look. Good guys doing good work, plus we got a few laughs in. Can't ask for more than that!

D&J replaced 2 light fixture along with some outlets. They were courteous and respectful of my time. They cleaned up after themselves to the point you could not even tell they were there! Their attention to detail was excellent!
